Mya Van Woudenberg is a wildlife biologist turned visual storyteller based in Vancouver Island on Coast Salish territory. She is incredibly grateful to be living on the west coast among the towering cedars, eagles, bears and salmon. Most days she can be found with her camera in hand strolling through misty forests and lively estuaries.

Mya is a firm believer in the power of photography and videography to inspire change. She is incredibly passionate about using these mediums to help folks connect with the natural world and, consequently, help protect our shared home. Mya’s conservation storytelling work has been featured by Sierra Club BC, CBC, The National Observer, Sony, Saving Earth Magazine, and more.
