Peter Fingland

Peter strives to use his experience in communications and digital media to promote conservation efforts while creating a connection to Canada’s vast ecosystems and the unique biodiversity within them. He uses storytelling and creative content to inspire change and showcase the beauty of the natural world.

Peter spent much of his time at the University of Ottawa exploring his passion for nature conservation through an academic lens. Nature conservation is very important to him because it ensures that future generations can also experience natural environments, and the plants and animals that they sustain.

Peter spends much of his free time exploring the outdoors and is passionate about activities such as snowboarding, hiking, and camping.
