Haipeng (Hiker) Yu

Haipeng (Hiker) Yu is a scholar, educator, and wildlife conservation advocate, focusing on advancing interdisciplinary public practice and knowledge communication centred on wildlife and nature conservation. He holds an MPhil from the University of Cambridge (Distinction) and an MEd from the University of Toronto (all A+). His research background is situated at the intersection of international policy, zoology, education, media, and environmental protection.

In his long-term practice, he is committed to connecting wildlife conservation with broader ecological and social issues, with particular attention to biodiversity conservation as well as environmental justice.
