Mary is an environmental communicator with a background in Zoology and
Environmental Visual Communication. She is currently completing a Master's
Degree in Environmental Education and Communication at Royal Roads University, focused on researching ways to foster intimacy, care, and a sense of interdependence with the environment through visual media.
Mary works as a photographer, videographer, and graphic designer for various environmental NGOs across Canada. Most recently she has worked with the Canadian Ocean Literacy Coalition and the SOI Foundation. She has also worked with Ocean Week Canada, CPAWS, the Ottawa Riverkeeper, and the Royal Ontario Museum.
