Growing up between the rocky shores of British Columbia and the pathways of Fish Creek Park in Calgary, Cameron's sense of awe for the natural world took root early. His education in Ecotourism and Outdoor Leadership at Mount Royal University deepened that connection. Whether sea kayaking in the Sea of Cortez or backpacking through Kananaskis, he always has a camera in hand.

Cameron then pursued a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) degree from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, providing a second lens through which to understand landscapes, and he spent years applying it across city planning, parks and trails systems analysis, and environmental restoration work. He now brings his expertise as a GIS analyst and photographer to his role as a Conservation Specialist with the Alberta Wilderness Association, Alberta's oldest environmental NGO, providing maps, photos, and videos to aid conservation work in Alberta.

With over 10 years of experience photographing the natural world and our interactions with it, Cameron has found that every moment in nature holds an opportunity to discover something new. Cameron strives to share that wonder with others, he approaches each trip outside with awe, curiosity, and a commitment to both learning and educating.
