Josh DeLeenheer is a conservation photographer based on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. He has long been an advocate for animals and the natural environment, working as a volunteer for various non-profit organizations and campaigning against the defeated Enbridge Northern Gateway Project.

Josh’s passion for conservation led him to photography as a means to inform the public about the impacts of human industries and activities on the wildlife and the environment with the goal of inspiring meaningful change. He continues to highlight issues of concern in his work, from local to global, providing stories and facts to raise awareness.
