Adam’s strength as a photographer is studying and capturing animal behaviours so that people get the opportunity to see and appreciate the beauty of the natural world, yet also realize the impact that our own actions can have on wildlife. As a conservation photographer, “take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints" is an old adage in which he strongly believes. Adam is meticulous in his work and feels that paying attention to detail helps develop a true connection with nature.

Each photograph Adam takes is a result of spending countless hours, days, weeks and months tracking and studying animals in the Canadian wilderness, from the remote islands on the West Coast to the windswept prairies beyond the reach of any road. Every photo of his has a story to tell and a lesson to teach.
